The Fernheim Colony Archives in Filadelfia, Paraguay were founded 1979
by Peter P. Klassen. Gundolf Niebuhr is the archivist since 1995.
Holdings include:
- Minutes of Colony meetings, official correspondence, reports and
statistical data from the beginning of the Colony in 1930.
- Photographs and films of community life
- Mennoblatt - This periodical has been indexed
from 1931- 2000, providing access to information about all obituaries.
- A collection of books about and from
Mennonites has been started.
- Records of the KfK (Kommission für kirchliche Angelegenheiten)
have been included.
